Cut a potato in half and dip into red paint and then press on your paper to make a lady bug. When the paint has dried, you can go back and add black spots by dipping the eraser part of a pencil in black paint and press on your red ladybugs.

Ladybug Facts:
1) Ladybugs have 6 legs. Can you count them?
2) Ladybugs usually have black spots and they also come in lots of colors including:
Red Ladybugs
Yellow Ladybugs
Orange Ladybugs
3) Ladybugs are helpful to a garden because they eat other bugs that are harmful to plants.
4) Ladybugs taste and smell with their antenna
5) Ladybugs don’t sting. They do have teeth but they usually will not bite. It is okay to have a ladybug land on you. Be gentle to them and they will be kind to you.
