Guess who likes the same colors?

Last week the children worked on gluing.  They used glue bottles with tap-n-glue tops.  You squeeze and tap the glue bottle.  Lots of fun and less mess!  Last week, we talked about our families.  The children are working on an art project here, "I love you to pieces".

The children have really enjoyed water colors.  They have been painting a favorite color.  The girls did not have a chance to paint on Wednesday, so it was their turn to paint, but the guys enjoyed it so much on Wednesday that they asked to paint again.  I think the children can actually see the water color paint absorb and blend on the water color paper,   One friend, really wanted purple and so we mixed red and blue, wallah!  Another friend wanted green, so we mixed yellow and blue, fun!

Sometimes a brush just does not do the job and an extra hand stroke is necessary!

Some random fun!

On Friday, Mrs. Asinovah, the music teacher, come by our class to teach us a few songs.

See you all Monday!  We will be working on Nursery Rhymes.

This week we discussed how dinosaurs become friends and how dinosaurs use their manners.
Please and Thank You!   We practice this lesson everyday at snack time.
"Would you like a snack?"  "Yes, please" or "No thank you".

The children tried lots of different activities this week, as we try to settle in to a routine.

Scarf dancing is always fun!

Would you like a snack?  Yes, please!

The children were allowed to pick a color to paint.  They really seemed to enjoy easel painting.

Next week, we will talk about our families.  Have a great weekend!
