It was great to have everyone back together this week!  We had a short week.  The children have been working on a very special Mother's Day surprise!

It's a mystery...............

The children worked on making more Easter decorations this week.  They painted "chocolate" bunnies!

The children also worked on "stained glass".

The children dyed Easter Eggs with Kool Aid!  The eggs came out really neat and they smelled good too!

I hope that you all had a wonderful Easter with your families!  See you on Wednesday!

The children enjoyed a production of Peter Rabbit.

The children have added more eggs to the Easter Basket.  This week, they made chocolate bunnies, which will be added to the basket next week.

Our visit with Hunny Bunny

First of all, I need to apologize for not posting to the blog last week.  I am having computer problems.  I could not get to my pictures!  As you can see, I figured it out.

I sent home your child's recycled art this week, but thought you might like to see a picture of the whole class collection.  I thought they came out really cute. :)

The children have been making Easter eggs.  This process was watercolors on paper that had wax writings and decorations on them, so they got a resist effect.

Working on some fine motor skills in the sensory table and with coloring.

The children are doing so wonderfully together.  They enjoy seeing one another every day and play very well together, most of the time.  They have come a long way this year.  :)

This week we took a field trip.  The children and I and our helper Mrs. Booze walked across the street to the elementary campus to visit Hunny Bunny.  Mrs. Burrichter's 3rd grade class has a long eared bunny rabbit.  I will be posting those pictures this weekend too!
