The children have been busy this week making Christmas decorations for our classroom. They started off by making Christmas trees with Mrs. Silvestri on Monday.  I think they came out really cute!

Next, they worked on making Christmas lights.

Glitter, such hard work  :)

Today, the children found some new items in the classroom including a train track, a Christmas cookie set and gingerbread men in the sensory table!  We also baked chocolate chip cookies for snack!

Today, we worked on making candy canes.  They did marble panting but instead of using marbles, we used a golf ball.

Have a great weekend!

We had a fun week leading up to Thanksgiving!

The children made leaf wreaths.

The children snapped green beans. We cooked them, most of the children were willing to try them.  Some liked them, some did not. :)

Today, we shared our fruit salad with the children in the other classrooms and they shared chicken biscuits and cookies with us!

We are working on getting our room decorated for Fall.
The children painted on bubble wrap to make corn for our field.

More fun making fall trees...

Imagination...

This morning I put out magnet wands and some tops.  Some of the tops were metal, some were not...hmm?  Fun science experiment.

The children found magnifying glasses and a bug book in the sensory table today.  We spent quite a bit of time identifying the bugs that were in the sensory table.

I am always amazed by their imagination.  He built a road and a dog house and figured out how to use the block as a chair to sit on while drawing!

We enjoyed a very funny play today, Tom the Turkey, presented by Timeless Tales Theater.

The children loved the show!

We had a great week!
