The children made leaf wreaths, finished their turkeys, snapped green beans and made pumpkin pie as they got ready for Thanksgiving!

I added some matching  games to the table toys.  The children have enjoyed figuring out what goes together.

We started off our week with a show from Timeless Tales Theater.  It was about the pilgrims and Tom the Turkey. As you can see, the children really loved it!

 

The sensory table was filled with leaves and bugs, tongs and magnifying glasses for some fun exploration!

We started off the week celebrating Halloween in our classroom. Thank you to Ari's mom for the delicious snacks and to Emma's mom for the fun Halloween decorations.

We have great fun in music class!

We were talking about Fall leaves last  week.  We read books about how leaves change color in the Fall.  I gave the children yellow and red paint and sponges, to create Fall leaves.

Dot art...pumpkins...

On Friday, the children painted on bubble wrap and then pressed a sheet of paper on top of the painted bubbles.  We will use the prints to make corn for our corn field.
