This past week, the children have been learning about summer vacation fun, including fishing and painting with flip flops!

The children made a little something for their dad the week before last but I could not show you until now. 

This week, the  children created hand decorated wrapping paper...

The children had some fun with shaving creme!  Does you dad use shaving creme? Hmm, most did not know.  It sure did smell good!

On Friday, we walked over to the Life Center to practice for our "Olympics". You don't want to miss it!  We are the BLUE team, so be sure to have the children wear something blue!

Happy Mother's Day!

I hope that you all have a wonderful weekend!  Your artist at work! The children did so well working with water colors on actual water color paper.  They were given two shades of blue and a dash of purple for the night sky and they were given yellow with a dash of red for the moon and stars, a beautiful effect!  We experimented with several types of brushes until we found what worked best.  A cosmetic brush was one option!

We also had to do some modeling for this project.  Recognize these shots?

Classroom fun.........These last few weeks we will be talking about summer fun!  That includes going to the beach and fishing!
