This week the children continued to explore things that you may do on vacation, like going camping and going to the beach. There were lots of items in the classroom for them to explore.  We have also had a great time doing some "research" in our classroom on our Chrome Book.  We have been able to look up all sorts of information on sharks, dolphins and manatees.  It has been great fun!

Sea animals in our Sensory Tub.  Some of the fish float, some do not!

Colorful fish using markers

How much fun is a tent?  LOADS! We had the tent up all week and the children did so well playing inside of the tent.  They took in books and pillows and eventually a few zoo animals :)

More beach themed items. Magnetic picture, puzzles, books and posters.

The children created tropical fish.  This took a lot of patience and coordination.

Engineers at work!  Such great imagination!

Great friendships being made.  Something was very funny!

Reading about sharks.

The children created beautiful Florida sunsets.

One of my favorite projects...flip flop art!

We had so much fun this week!

It has been fun to watch the children grow and mature this year.  They play well together and they have become more independent.  I hope that you can see that at home too!  I hate to pass them along to the next teacher.  They have been such a delight!

See you tomorrow!

As you can see, they worked very hard on their gifts.  Hope you all enjoyed a Happy Mother's Day!
