Our last week of class before break, we continued to get ready for Christmas.  We talked about the Bethlehem star.  The children created their own stars with lots of glue and glitter!

The children made these fun Christmas trees on Friday.

Some Christmas activities.

Gately's birthday party.....

The children were all so excited this past week. I'm sure your households were too!  One day last week, as I was talking with one of the students, I mentioned the E word, Elf!  Oh my gosh!  I had 8 children all talking at one time, in very excited voices about the Elf at their house!  It was just too funny!  On our last day of class, while on the playground, I realized that all of the children were just running.  It was like an escape valve letting off steam!  Again, just too funny! These examples are just a token of the wonderful rewards that I get daily, working with your children.

I hope that you all had a wonderful Christmas!  I look forward to the New Year and 2015!

We started the week with a production of Frosty, the Snowman, presented by Timeless Tales Theater.  It was a cute show and the children really seemed to enjoy it.

Painting is always fun...

This week the children had their own Christmas tree to decorate.
