We started off the week making stars for our Christmas trees at home.

As you know, we have been decorating our classroom Christmas tree.  It gets redecorated every day!  I also brought in some Christmas cards for us to look at.

This activity was "color recognition".  What color is Rudolph's nose?  Anna also thought the reindeer needed legs!

Some more fun with reindeer..................

This week we celebrated two birthdays!

We also made our own wrapping paper last week.  See if you recognize it this week in the backpacks.  :)

Some random fun....................

As I put these photos together, it makes me realize even more how very special these children are to me and I know they are to you.  This is a wonderful time of the year, cherish it with your families and please pray for the families in Newtown, CT.  God bless.

It has been another busy week in our classroom.  We have been working on making Christmas Wreaths, Manger Scenes and Candy Canes.

Christmas Wreaths

Manger scenes still in progress. This is step one.

Candy Canes.......................

We have had fun decorating our own Christmas tree!  Notice how all the ornaments are hung on the lower branches, even though they can reach them all?

More classroom Christmas fun :)
