I went out of town last weekend and did not get a chance to update the blog, so this week's blog will be packed full of fun!

First of all, the fire truck came for a visit.  The firefighter showed us lots of things on the truck, including where they keep the ladders and hoses.

The children painted black cats...

The children discovered that if you mix red and yellow paint, you get orange!  What beautiful pumpkins they made.

On Monday, we saw a play put on by Timeless Tales Theater.  They presented, The 3 Little Pigs.  The children really seemed to enjoy the show.  The characters were all funny, including the wolf!

We celebrated another birthday!  Happy Birthday Nika!

The children worked on a neat Halloween picture this week.  They painted yellow moons and then had to assemble the moon and some bats!

What a fun filled two weeks!  Next week, we will be working on making a Halloween t-shirt to wear at our Halloween celebration on Oct 30th.  This should be fun!  Have a great weekend!

Remember last week, the children were working on bears?  Here they are!

This week, we continued our theme of Favorite Stories with If You Give A Pig A Pancake.  The children had pancakes for snack and painted pink pigs! They put powdered sugar on their pancakes. They were delicious!

We celebrated a birthday this week!  Happy Birthday Ella!

Some classroom fun and a BIG thank you to Mrs. Booze for always helping us out ")

See you Monday!
