The children have had a lot of fun getting ready for Halloween. Emma is working on her bat picture with Mrs. Silvestri.

The children made a mural by placing shapes on contact paper.  This was a great activity for their fine motor skills. It now hangs in our window for beautiful fall color!

I love to catch them reading...

Some classroom Halloween activities...

Stamping fun

Play doh fun!

See you on Monday!  Be sure to wear the Halloween t-shirt that we made, and a sweater!

The children have been busy getting ready for Halloween.  They have painted yellow moons, black cats and green monsters!

This week, we read some of my favorite stories, You Ain't Gonna Paint No More, The Big Wide Mouthed Frog and The Hungry Caterpillar.

Easel Painting...

The children mixed blue and yellow paint to make green, for their wide mouthed frogs.

For this activity, the children used circles and different colors to create caterpillars.

More classroom fun.
