The children have had fun discovering Halloween in our classroom.  They have painted pumpkins, cats and Big Green Monsters!  They have discovered pumpkins as a felt board puzzle,  in the sensory table and in our library.

The girls painted black cats!

Go Away Big Green Monster!

We saw a show on Friday.  It was MadScience!  It was very entertaining.

See you Monday!

To say "These girls keep me on my toes" is an understatement. I am not always able to capture all of their activities.  This week they kept busy with making an ADORABLE Auction project, painting orange and getting a close hand look at a firetruck.  We had firefighter books to read and firefighter puzzles to work on before the truck came today.

We will be working on getting our classroom decorated and ready for Halloween! We will have art and activities that will involve pumpkins, cats and bats and a funny green monster or two!

This week, I am giving you a glimpse into their world of play.  You will see "cooperation, math skills, literacy skills, fine motor skills and most importantly social skills.

I often wonder, "What are they thinking while they are playing"? Enjoy!

Have a great weekend!  I'm off to see the Gators play!!!
