We finished up our unit on All About Me with more focus on our 5 senses this past week.  The children got to try sea salt painting.  This paint has texture and a bit of sparkle.  We chose the colors of the sea, which ties right in with our next unit, Florida!

 

 

 

 

On Friday, Picture Day, we kept our art project to a simple gluing project.  The children made Mr. Potato Head and we discussed our 5 senses.  It was interesting seeing where all of his parts ended up on the paper! Notice some of the children in the background, actually putting Mr. Potato Head together.

In the next few weeks, we will be learning all about where we live, FLORIDA!
