This weeks' theme was "All About Me".  I brought in a scale and we have a measuring chart in our room.  It was fun to see how big we are!  We read a great book, How Colossal Are You?  The children heard all sorts of comparative words for size. Big, little, small, huge, enormous, colossal and then all the way down to itty bitty.

The children played with toys that helped reinforce the theme, All About Me.  They had books and manipulative toys that helped them with the concepts of our bodies, our home and family.

On Friday, we started talking about our 5 Senses.  Mr. Potato Head is a GREAT tool for learning about our senses and fun!

How many arms do you have ?  Are your eyes above your nose?  Hmmmmmm

What better way to explore senses, then with Kool Aid paint!  The children could smell the paint, see the paint and in some cases, feel the paint. :)  It was a kool project!  Of course, I was probably the only one who really knew what Kool Aid was!

Oranges for snack.  The children used 4 senses, sight, taste, smell and touch.
