This week the children enjoyed a presentation by Wonders of Nature.  They got to see a hawk, an owl, various parrots, a squirrel and even an opossum. The presenter talked to the children about each animal, how they take care of themselves and what special sense they have for survival, like owls have really good hearing and squirrels have good sense of smell. 


 
 
On Wednesday the children did some cooking!  They made pudding.  Everyone got a chance to pour and stir and taste!
 
First they dumped in the pudding mix

Then they stirred in the milk and crunched up graham crackers for a topping.

 
 

 


 
 





 
 
 
Putting finishing touches on some of their Florida art. This month we will be working on pumpkins and black cats and big yellow moons......yep, Halloween!  See you Monday!
