We continued with our Favorite Story theme.  We read, The Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle.

The children made caterpillars by dipping a paper cup into paint and pressing it on their paper.  They were given one long narrow strip of paper to make the caterpillar and then if they wanted to continue, we gave them a bigger sheet of paper and more colors.

I changed out the sensory table.  Trucks and sand! I also added a few different manipulative toys and puzzles.

On Friday we enjoyed watching The Gingerbread Boy, a play put on by Timeless Tales Theater.  It was very funny and we learned about the importance of following rules.
