Last week we started a new unit on Favorite Stories.
On Monday, I read them Silly Sally by Audrey Wood.  The children had fun making their own Silly Sally!

These boys made a great discovery! They put a squishy ball inside of a plastic egg.  The squishy ball lights up when you bounce it or tap on it.  They, quite by accident, tapped on the egg with the ball inside and the egg lit up!  Wow, was that something!

Our next story was, If You Give A Moose A Muffin by Laura Numeroff.  The children enjoyed making and tasting blueberry muffins.  They took turns mixing and then we baked them in our classroom.  We could smell the muffins baking, just like the moose in the story! Hmm!

On Friday, we read, I Ain't Gonna Paint No More by Karen Beaumont,  It is a story about a little girl that gets in trouble for painting on EVERYTHING!  We learned how to paint at the easel. I think they are all masterpieces! Notice the different techniques!
