Happy Spring!

We started off our week by listening to Silly Sam!  He was silly and we learned some new songs.....and danced.

Hard to take a picture, they were moving so fast!

The children worked on making yellow, baby chicks and also experimenting with two colors and two different ways to apply paint.  Did you know you can paint with a red foam ball?

These guys are hard to catch but there was some serious imagination goin' on here!

Classroom fun.....

On Friday, the children worked on making "stained glass". They used water colors and pipettes. They had fun watching the colors blend together and they learned that by mixing two colors, you get a new one!

Everyone busy creating and very proud of their work!

Check out this railroad!

You never know where you will find a super hero!

We  had great fun this week.  We even got in a plumbing lesson!  The sink we use to wash our hands in Fellowship Hall, has a habit of creating bubbles.  The children are always curious about why this happens, so we got a lesson in water pressure and basic plumbing. We took a look under the sink to see how the pipes were laid out and where the water goes.  We also did a little experiment with water pressure and realized if we turned the water on too hard, the bubbles back up into the sink.  All very fascinating for a 3 year old!  (And I love explaining it to them!)

Hope you had a GREAT weekend!  See you Monday!
