Hope that you all enjoyed your Spring Break!  It was great to see everyone on Wednesday!  It was cute to hear Anna tell Ethan, "I missed you yesterday"  even though they hadn't seen each other in over a week!
This month we are talking about things in the garden.  We will be learning about flowers, bugs and maybe even frogs!

A great doodle artist.                                   Stringing flowers..................

What is that in the sensory table?  (Hint:  It smells like a Starbucks shop!)

We will be planting real flowers on Monday!

On Friday, the children did some painting.  We had pictures up in the classroom, showing the many colors of flowers and the children got to chose what color they wanted to paint.

We had a visitor on Friday.  She will be in this class next year  :)

Mrs.. Carlson stopped by and the kids enjoyed showing her some of their toys.

On Friday, we got to see a demonstration on repelling.  The 4 year old classes are learning about construction and they had arranged for a demonstration.  So if your child tells you about a man going up in the air on ropes and then hanging upside down, they are telling you the truth! Unfortunately, I was so excited to get the children outside to see this, I left my camera in the room, so no pictures.

We also kept hearing some loud banging noises and the children were asking me what it was, so we took a walk out front to watch the excavator that is working on our new building!  What a fun Friday!
