It was so nice to see everybody this week!  The children seemed genuinely glad to be back at school and to see their friends. One of my friends walked in and looked around and then said to me. "There's no Christmas".  And he was correct, we have moved on from Christmas and are now learning about snow and winter.  Living in Florida, we have a lot of explaining to do, so when the children came into the classroom they found items like mittens and hot chocolate and even snow!  They also found some new toys to explore.

I always love to get out the "big" blocks this time of the year.  The children are at the perfect age to "build".  I love to see what they come up with and to listen to their conversations.

I moved our "family" photos and the children have had fun finding their family and pointing them out to their friends.  These two are just adorable!  Again, fun to watch and to listen to.

I think the children were glad to be back to their "school" routine.  They played with everything!

The children enjoyed seeing the play, Frosty, the Snowman, on Friday.

See you on Monday!
