We have started our unit,  "Out West".  The children have decorated boots and painted cactus.  One day we watched the rodeo on our classroom chrome book!

I have been telling the children about plants and animals that they can find "Out West". Why are cactus prickly?

The children finger painted on sandpaper.  One child told me it felt rough!

The children also painted snakes and stars.
