Last week we started to review Nursery Rhymes.  The first one we covered, and everyone knew, was Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star.  We even read a version by Pete the Cat!

The children worked on resist art.  They painted with water color on white paper. The white paper had stars drawn on them with white crayon. You could not see the stars until you painted.  It made for a fun art experience!

The next Nursery Rhyme we went over was Hickory, Dickory, Dock. The children were not as familiar with this rhyme, but they had fun learning it!  We had all sorts of animals running up the clock from mice to dogs!  We had the clock strike 1 - 4 and had rhyming words to go with all!  The children made mice and they were sooo busy with glue that day, that I could not break away for any pictures.  I will be sure to include pictures next week of their finished project.

I thought you would like to see some of the dinosaurs the children made that went along with our story, How Do Dinosaurs Play with Their Friends?

This week, we will continue to work on more Nursery Rhymes, as well as attend Music Class and Chapel.  It will be another busy week!
