Happy Earth Day!
Let's learn about lily pads!
Lily pads are the green leaves of a water lily plant that grows in the water.
Sometimes there is a flower that blooms on it.
Lily pads are plants in a lake or pond that frogs can sit and rest on.
Lily pads help the frogs to stay cool and wet in the water, while taking a break.
Frogs like to jump from lily pad to lily pad.

Make your own lily pads and have your child pretend to be a frog
who must squat down and leap from pad to pad.
Variations of this game include: Using stepping stones of different
shapes and/or colors. You then shout out a particular color or shape
