We had another birthday!

We have been talking about how cowboys keep track of their cows out on the range.  They put a "mark" on them.  The children got to use their "mark" during art. Everyone got to use their initial.

The children worked on making cactus with Mrs. Silvestri and the substitute teacher, Mrs. Foster. You can see the cactus in the background of the next photo. 

 I was out this past week as I traveled to Tallahassee with my husband, Jim, who retired on Thursday from the State of Florida after 24 years.  We celebrated with a very nice dinner with the legal staff that he has worked with.  A very nice, quick trip.
