We have started our final unit of the year, Summer Vacation.  We will be talking about going to the beach and other things that we might do on our vacations this summer.  This week, the children found water in the sensory table.  They also had fishing poles and nets to use to catch fish!  We read a really good book about fishing with dad, too. It was titled, Gone Fishing by Earlene Long

The children have been working on a surprise for Mother's Day.  They are not quite done, so no pictures just yet.  We read two good books about moms, My Mom, by Anthony Browne and My Mom is Great, by Gaby Goldsack.  Did you know that moms can do just about anything?

We saw our last production of the year this week. Timeless Tales Theatre came and presented, The Ugly Duckling.  It was a funny show and the children really seemed to enjoy it. :)
