This week, the children worked on making baby chicks.  They had a practice paper where they could use the sponge as much as they wanted and then we tried to get just three. They finished them up by gluing on  eyes and a beak. I put their initial up on the art work so they could pick out their chicks.

I added plastic eggs and tongs to the sensory table this week.  We decided that the tongs looked like scissors, but they can't cut, they looked like spoons , but you can't eat with them and that they looked like bunny ears. Whatever the case, they were fun to use to try and pick up the eggs!
