Ahh yes, this week we made our own snack!  Did anyone come home and tell you "We ate spiders"? This is a great story!  I had the wrong ingredients to make the "spiders" but we used our imagination and they were just fine!  We talked about how spiders have 8 legs and while most spiders ARE black, ours were white :)

They were good to eat!

 

We also worked on painting yellow moons!

Our bats found a place to nap!  We talked about how bats sleep during the day.

This past week or so we have been working on more Halloween decorations! We painted bats and "Handy" green monsters.

We also got to celebrate our first birthday in our classroom!  FUN!

We have been busy this past week as we are getting ready for Halloween!  We discovered that when you mix red and yellow paint, you get a new color, orange!  We did this at the easel and with finger paint.  We have been talking about pumpkins and Jack-o-Lanterns.  We made cool black cats!  I even disguised our clock in the classroom.  Let's see who notices it first!  Fun!
